What is Mr.CES ?
Using this service you can search and read on the Internet website the past typical data on temperature and shock measured from inside the containers at sea during transportation.
General
This is a service answer to queries concerning container transportation environments such as "How high the temperature inside the containers raise during transportation?", "How strong is the shock occurring in the containers?"
This database has continually been built up since 1987. The typical data in the database are provided.
Features
The search results are displayed as a list of items you have retrieved. Each item can be displayed as a time historical graph of the measurement data. The graph can be downloaded as an image file.
Comments from the users
- We are currently developing shock sensitive products. Because we can obtain in advance information on the degree of shock that occurs enroute to our products that are to be transported, the database service is extremely useful for us to perform experiments simulating the environments the cargo might experience during actual transportation.
- We are shipping products who's performance deteriorates at a certain temperature. Because we can search data by specifying the parameters such as navigation route and season, we can obtain the necessary information accurately. The information is very useful for our product development.
- We are designing cargo packing. Because the database can be displayed in the form of graph for each movement of the cargo such as warehousing, container yard, marine transportation, we can find places with worse environmental conditions in transportation at a glance. The data is valuable for us to study preventive measures against damage to cargo in advance.
